New Certification Levels of Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA®)

Along with the changes introduced in the BABOK® Guide, IIBA has implemented some amendments in the certification levels as well. New certification levels of business analysis are as follows:

  • Level 1: For individuals entering the field of business analysis.
  • Level 2: For BA professionals who have 2-3 years of business analysis experience
  • Level 3: For BA professionals who manage and lead with over 5 years of business analysis experience

FAQs

The Certification of Capability in Business AnalysisTM (CCBA®) designation is a professional certification from International Institute of Business AnalysisTM (IIBA®) for business analysis practitioners who want to be recognized for their expertise and skills by earning formal recognition.

As mentioned in the above criteria, participants aspiring to be certified would require 21 PDUs before appearing for examination. PDUs can be issued only by IIBA® Endorsed Education Providers. Acesynergi Solutions is an endorsed education provider.

IIBA members receive a complimentary copy of the BABOK® Guide PDF.

All our trainers are working professionals and industry experts with at least 18-20 years of relevant teaching experience.

The ECBA™ exam is 1 hour long and consists of 50 multiple choice questions. It is competency-based aligned to BABOK® Guide Version.

Yes. PDU's are required to submit your application.

Applications are assessed immediately upon submission and payment of the application fee You will not be able to submit your application unless you have met all of the eligibility requirements. Once your online application shows that all requirements have been met (i.e. there is a green check mark in each of the requirements sections), you will be able to submit your application and pay the application fee. Upon successfully completing payment of the application fee, you will immediately receive an email saying that you are either approved OR approved pending audit. If you are approved, the e-mail will contain instructions on how to pay IIBA for your exam and schedule it.

The application fee is $125 USD and is not refundable (i.e. regardless of whether your application is approved or declined). The exam fee is $325 USD for IIBA members and $450 USD for non-members.
